Give the equation needed to solve each problem, and then solve each problem.



(1) James has 32 white and brown eggs. Fourteen of the eggs are white. How many eggs are brown?

(2) Mary has $3. Her brother, Max, has some money, too. Together, they have a total of $21, so how much money does Max have?

(3) Stacy has some marbles. Together with her friend, Kevin, they have a total of 30 marbles. If Kevin has 12 marbles, how many marbles does Stacy have?

(4) Peter has 21 white and black sheep. Twelve of the sheep are white. How many sheep are black?

[Let b = black sheep]



(5) Bobby has $3. His sister, Paxi, has some money, too. Together, they have a total of $25, so how much money does Paxi have?

[Let p = Paxi's money]



(6) Tully has some marbles. Together with her friend, Dribbix, they have a total of 13 marbles. If Tully has 7 marbles, how many marbles does Dribbix have?
