Extension and Enrichment Challenge

famous event19.  Find out about any well-known event from history and present your findings to the class in the form of a short speech. You must use some kind of visual aide for this task. You don't have to hand in any written work, but you will be marked on your visual aide and your speech.
Focus on sharing with the class key information: who (was involved), what (they did), why (why this event occurred, or why this event is signficant), where (did this event take place), when (did this event take place)...

Some suggestions: start of World War I, the origin of the Church of England, the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. You can choose another event, but check with your teacher first.   [5 marks]
